Project Impact

We turned IOF's annual report into a visually compelling fundraising tool that strengthened brand recognition and stakeholder engagement. The redesigned reports helped the philanthropic collaborative communicate how it's mobilizing resources to build an inclusive, equitable lean energy economy across underserved communities.

Challenge

The original reports were informative but lacked persuasive storytelling and cohesive design. IOF needed to inspire philanthropic organizations to invest in clean energy projects that would grow local economies, create jobs, and improve community health—but the reports weren't compelling enough to drive the funding decisions and partnerships required to scale impact.

Approach

I created a consistent design system across 30+ pages that balanced data-driven insights with compelling visuals. Strategic data visualizations were tailored to engage diverse audiences—from foundation leaders evaluating funding opportunities to community organizations seeking partnerships. The design emphasized IOF's three-pronged approach: forging project pipelines, addressing permitting barriers, and developing an equitable clean energy workforce.
